2012 BC Road Champion Joel Taylor.
The 70 km race started out with a strong climb right out of the parking lot.
Some riders struggled on the first 2 km's or until they found their legs.

An early Break with Jackson Pickell & Henri DeBoever went early in the race but the pack didn't seem
to be overly concerned and eventually pulled them back with three to go.  at the
end three riders tried to escape but it wasn't to happen the peleton reeled it back
and on the last corner Joel (Cadet) made his move and caught the older Juniors asleep at the
wheel. Nice move, that paid off big time!
